Robin Trower Anthology On The Way
His second Chrysalis box set is due in February
Released on 27 February, ‘Farther On Up The Road: The Chrysalis Years 1977-1983,' is a companion piece to 2010's A Tale Untold anthology, which covered the years 73-76.
The new collection includes six albums including two LPs made with Cream’s bassist and vocalist, Jack Bruce.
The three-CD set opens with 1977’s ‘In City Dreams,’ which now has the 7” single edit of ‘Bluebird’ - available on CD for the first time - along with 1978′s ‘Caravan To Midnight.’
Next up is 1979’s ‘Victims Of The Fury’ (with the rare B-side ‘One In A Million’), and the two albums to feature Jack Bruce - ‘B.L.T.’ and ‘Truce’.
Finally, the set wraps up with ‘Back It Up,’ Trower’s eleventh and last LP for Chrysalis.
