The Led Zeppelin legend and his band will top the bill at London’s The O2 on Friday 26th October where they will perform alongside Van Morrison. Both acts will perform full sets on the night.

Tickets to BluesFest go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 20th April.

Percy said: “It’s been way over 50 years since I first shared the stage with Van Morrison; and his band were positioned no.2 on the charts with ‘Here Comes the Night’. His style then and now remains unique and loaded with deep soul. I'm looking forward to an exciting and dynamic night.”

BluesFest Director Leo Green adds: “For Bluesfest to present an evening featuring full sets from Robert Plant & Van Morrison is a huge honour. Robert Plant & Van Morrison have made some of the most important recordings in the history of music and they both continue to be as vital, relevant and brilliant as they have always been - this promises to be an incredible evening.”

Percy released ‘Carry Fire’, his eleventh solo album and second with his backing band The Sensational Shape Shifters, in October 2017 via Nonesuch / Warner Bros. Records.

Following its release, the band headed out on a completely sold-out 14-date UK tour in November/December 2017 that included a date at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Preceding BluesFest, Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters play Bearded Theory Festival on Saturday 26th May and Bath Festival on Sunday 27th May.

Last month John Fogerty was unveiled as the first BluesFest headliner on Thursday 25th October. His only UK date of 2018 will see him perform Creedence Clearwater Revival’s greatest hits and he’ll be joined by Steve Miller Band.

Tickets to John Fogerty are on sale now right here.
