Robert Plant premieres powerful animated video for 'New World'

Created by Shepard Fairey, Aaron Huey and Ernesto Yerena, the video pays tribute to indigenous Americans and is packed with a powerful message in these turbulent political times.

Proceeds from the song will go to non-profit organisation Honor the Earth, which raises awareness and financial support for Indigenous environmental justice.

Percy comments: “Every day our senses are assaulted by the ridiculous. It's not so long ago that today's plots and wrangles between nation governments would seem too far-fetched to inspire a Hollywood blockbuster. The perversions and struggles leave a shadow over the spirit of the people and the land. It's not an original sin. Every era bears the burden of chaos and warmongering. Time immemorial.

Shepard Fairey – perhaps best known for his Barack Obama ‘Hope’ poster – also created the artwork for Led Zeppelin’s 2007 compilation album ‘Mothership’ and their 2012 concert film ‘Celebration Day’.

Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters headline BluesFest at London’s The O2 on Friday 26th October with Van Morrison also performing on the night.
