Guitarist Scott Holiday has revealed: "We’re recording in Nashville for the first time - away from our native Los Angeles and staying in a place called Leapers Fork, in great open countryside outside of Nashville surrounded by plantation style mansions on huge pieces of land. We’re working with Dave Cobb again who’s produced the last 2 albums, at his home studio; it’s so customised and tailored to his likes and desires and filled with vintage equipment it’s amazing. He has stuff from Decca and Sun studios, really rare interesting equipment and we’re using all of it. Beautiful vintage instruments even really rare 50’s and 60’s radio equipment. We’ve also brought Vance Powell into the fold; he is an award winning engineer who’s worked with Jack White, Kings of Leon etc and he’s gonna also mix the record this time and he did the set up date with us so we got TONES!

"We’re all really ready and excited to be here in the pressure cooker making ridiculous Rock’n’Roll! We got here Monday we have just a month to write and record the album, we’re feeling fantastic in studio - this studio has actual windows in it – so we get actual daylight not too vampired out!

"We’re really excited heading into unknown territory – We’re definitely keeping it as dangerous as we can and rough around edges no-one wants another Pressure & Time – we’re going to give our fans and ourselves something new – of course we’ll play all the Pressure & Time tracks live for a long time,  and we’re not too far away from what done we’ve done before, just not repeating  ourselves. This is music to jump out of planes to!”

The new album, the follow up to last year's superb Pressure & Time, will be released in late summer 2012.
