Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow’s Manchester Arena show has been cancelled

Following last month’s attack at the venue, Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow’s Manchester Arena show has been cancelled.

The main area outside the venue has been temporarily closed since the incident on 22nd May and the arena is yet to announce when it will reopen.

All upcoming events at Manchester Arena until at least the 20th August have either been cancelled or moved.

Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow have released a statement, reading: “Ritchie, all band members and management are sorry that this tragedy has occurred.  Our heartfelt sympathy to all victims and everyone in Manchester”.

Other shows on Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow tour are not affected and will continue as planned. The tour dates are as follows:

JUNE 2017
London’s The O2 (Stone Free Festival) – Sat 17th
Glasgow The SSE Hydro – Sun 25th  
Birmingham Genting Arena - Wed 28th
