Our invite-only Riffmas gig

Here at Planet Rock we love live music: from staging our yearly Planet Rockstock and Winter's End festivals, to one off events like Zeppelin Symphonic and Queen Symphonic at the London Palladium, we love to throw a good party with awesome music.

In partnership with our fellow rock fanatics over at Kerrang! Radio, we're throwing a free gig for our listeners - literally a money can't buy ticket! The only way you can be there is by winning your place with us...

Where and when is it?

UPDATE 29/11/21: It is with much regret that Planet Rock’s and Kerrang Radio’s joint live event 'Riffmas', with Those Damn Crows and Rews, will be postponed until early next year.

The safety of our audience, bands, crew and staff is paramount and with the uncertainty of the new Omicron COVID variant we feel it’s wise to move the show to another date in early 2022.

We shall announce the rescheduled date in due course, for which all tickets will remain valid. Thank you for your understanding.

The gig was due to take place at The Asylum in Birmingham, on Friday 3rd December 2021, doors opening at 7pm. Please note, it has now been postponed, new date TBA.

Riffmas 2021 lineup

Headlining are Bridgend hard rockers Those Damn Crows, who Planet Rock have supported from their early days playing at Winter's End 2018, and who not only headed Sunday at Planet Rockstock 2021, but will also be stepping up to the main stage at Download Festival 2022!

Support comes from long-time New Rock Show and Kerrang! Radio Fresh Blood favourites Rews, who'll bring their Royal Blood-esque riffs and Shauna Tohill's sublime vocals to Birmingham.

How do I get tickets?

You could only get tickets by entering your name to our competition - entry is now closed!

Please note, in addition to our standard terms and conditions, the following terms apply:

Venue entry age requirements: 14+ year olds accompanied by an 18+ adult only

Once winners have been randomly selected, Planet Rock / Kerrang! Radio will email them. Winners must confirm that they can attend the gig before Monday 22nd November 2021 otherwise their tickets will be reallocated to runners up.

Tickets are non-transferable and not for resale. Any tickets found to be sold can be cancelled at our discretion. Photo ID required. 1 pair per winner. 1 entry per radio station.
