PRESALE: Rick Wakeman announces 17-date Christmas 2020 UK tour

Keyboard wizard Rick Wakeman will head out on a fresh festive foray this coming November and December with The Even Grumpier Old Christmas Show.
Rick Wakeman’s 2019 Christmas tour was a complete sell-out and the new trek will visit a number of towns and cities that Rick didn’t get to last time.
The tour will open at London’s Cadogan Hall on Friday 27th November and call in at Dorking, Basingstoke, Leicester, Birmingham, Gateshead, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Edinburgh, Bradford, Hull, Southend, Cambridge, High Wycombe, Southampton and Salisbury before culminating at Bexhill De La Warr Pavilion on Monday 21st December.

As always the concerts will see Rick meld piano music with hilarious anecdotes from his legendary music career.
The setlist will feature instrumental arrangements of traditional festive tunes, YES songs, Rick’s own solo music, covers of Beatles and David Bowie classics and much more.
Commenting on the tour, Rick Wakeman said: “It’s so difficult to imagine how live music is going to be in the future, but I have to believe that there will be sensible and workable answers to enable us all to enjoy concerts, the theatre and other social events.
“So, with my positive hat on, I’m looking forward to a new ‘Even Grumpier Christmas Show’ to hopefully play my part in putting smiles back on all our faces and prepare us for a healthier and continually caring 2021.”
