REM's Peter Buck Readies Solo Release
The guitarist looks set to be the first of his band to go solo
Buck's Minus 5 bandmate Scott McCaughey told Seattle radio station Kiro FM that his friend was working on new music and that the "material is going to be pretty out" (not too sure what that means).
Buck is apparently looking likely to sing on the album - something that he never did with REM - and he is considering releasing the album as vinyl only.
REM frontman Michael Stipe has in the past been adamant that he will never release any solo material.
