Release Date Delay For Bret Michaels
Solo album pushed back from March 26 to June 11.
The record, entitled Good Songs & Great Friends, will span a number of genres and generations. This includes a live duet with Jimmy Buffett on "Margaritaville", a cover of "Sweet Home Alabama" with Gary Rossington, and musical collaborations with Rickey Medlocke and Peter Keys from Lynyrd Skynyrd. In addition,. Michaels has recorded new versions of some of Poison's biggest hits, including a remake of "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" with Loretta Lynn.
Also featured on the album are Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Michael Anthony of Van Halen/Chickenfoot, Leslie West of Mountain and Ace Frehley of Kiss/Frehley's Comet, among others.
