Reformed Soundgarden Reissue First Single

Soundgarden are to reissue their first ever single on special orange vinyl to celebrate Record Store Day PLUS the band have given fans a free live download.
The band reissue their ‘Hunted Down’ single as an orange 7” record in certain independent record stores around the world on 17 April. Like the original, which was released on Sub Pop back in 1987, it is backed with ‘Nothing To Say’.
Record Store Day celebrates independent record stores around the world, and is renowned for bands providing exclusive material just for the event.

Meanwhile, Soundgarden have also released a free download to members of their mailing list.
The live version of ‘Spoonman’ was recorded back in 1996 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego. It was recorded onto two track tape, as with all of the other live shows on the band’s 1996 tour, but had until now been forgotten about.
In the email sent to fans they hint that the live material they have may be used for a live album at some point in the future.
