Reed: Metallica Album Best Thing Done By Anyone Ever
Bold claims from legendary musician
Lou Reed has suggested that the forthcoming collaboration between himself and Metallica is really very special indeed. The album will be new versions of tracks that appeared in Reed's Lulu musical.
In an interview with New York Magazine he makes the claim that "The version of the Lulu music I did with Metallica is awe inspiring. It's maybe the best thing done by anyone, ever. It could create another planetary system. I'm not joking, and I'm not being egotistical."
He added that the album "will probably come out by November."
