Following the band's joke announcement that the album would be called "Dr Johnny Skinz's Disproportionately Rambunctious Polar Express Machine-head", they have now confirmed that the record will be entitled 'I'm With You'.

The album will be their first since 1995's One Hot Minute that won't feature guitarist John Frusciante, who quit the band in 2009. The band's touring guitarist Josh Klinghoffer has taken over on guitar full time.

The album, which has been produced by long term collaborator Rick Rubin, will be preceded by a single, which is titled 'The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie' and will be released on 18 July.

The band will be hitting the road in support of the album later this year.
