RECORD LISTENER FIGURES FOR PLANET ROCK

Planet Rock now has more listeners than ever before after the most recent listener figures revealed that 783,000 people now tune in every week.

This is a massive jump in listeners from last quarter's 718,000, and in fact our biggest leap in listeners since 2006 and up just over 10% on the same point as last year.

Rob Birnie and Nicky Horne have both had big quarters with year on year audience increases of 13% each.

Our MD Jonathan Arendt said "Another set of record figures for Planet Rock with continued growth in both hours and reach and the largest increase in audience since 2006. This demonstrates the increasingly broad appeal of the station and the enduring nature of great rock music.”
