Rare Jack White & The Bricks Recording To Be Released

Includes early versions of White Stripes Songs

Recorded at a Detriot Bowling Alley in 1999, Jack White and his early band The Bricks can be heard on this new release singing several future White Stripes numbers, including "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" and "The Union Forever", along with a few covers.The album is entitled "Live on the Garden Bowl Lanes".

Aside from White, the line-up features Brendan Benson on guitar, Kevin Peyok on bass and Ben Blackwell on drums. 

The album will be released through Third Man Vault records on a vinyl of bowling-pin white, in a package which also includes an early demo of White and Benson playing the Raconteurs' "Steady, As She Goes" and "The Same Boy You've Always Known", recorded two years before appearing on The White Stripes' White Blood Cells album.
