Rare Backwards Beatles Pic Sells For £16k
The alternative take on Abbey Road sells at auction
The photo was sold at the Bloomsbury auction house in central London yesterday afternoon.
The limited edition Iain Macmillan print had been expected to sell for around £9000 but easily smashed its estimate.
Aside from the obvious right to left direction change, the other notable differences on this alternative photo include Paul wearing sandals (on the original he was barefoot) and you cannot see his cigarette.
