Rammstein To Headline Download
The German metallers top the bill on the Sunday night
The second headline act to be confirmed in as many days, Rammstein will appear at the legendary Donington Park for the very first time on Sunday 16 June.
Download organiser Andy Copping said of the band "They are an epic live act and a perfect Sunday headliner to cap off what is shaping up to be yet another fantastic Download festival"
When asked what it meant to them to be headlining a festival at the iconic Donington the band simply said "Its only a festival.not a moon landing."
They join Iron Maiden as headliners of the festival, which takes place on the weekend of 14-16 June.
Tickets for the festival are on sale next Friday at 9am.
