The festival will now be open from 4pm on Friday 28th July and heavy metal legends Saxon have been unveiled as the big-name Planet Rock Stage headliner on the opening night.

Singer Biff Byford says: “After a great time at the first Ramblin’ Man Fair we are very happy to be asked back to headline the inaugural Friday night this year. With all the hits and more coming your way … get out your denim and leather, it's going to be special.”

Also playing the opening day on the Planet Rock Stage are Dio offshoot Last In Line and the Graham Bonnet Band.

They all join an already incredible line-up that boasts headliners ZZ Top and Extreme plus Dokken, Kansas, Magnum, Focus, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Rival Sons, Monster Truck, British Lion and many, many more.

Ramblin’ Man Fair takes place in the stunning surroundings of Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent on the weekend of Friday 28th to Sunday 30th July 2017.
