Queen's Greatest Hits Is UK's Biggest Album

The band's compilation has shifted 5.8m copies in the UK

A newly compiled chart by the UK's Official Chart Company has revealed that Queen's 1981 Greatest Hits album has sold 5.8m copies - more than 800,000 more The Beatles' Sgt Pepper's, which is in second place.

Oasis, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd and Queen's second Greatest Hits compilation (Greatest Hits II) also appear in the top ten.

3) Abba - Gold

4) Oasis - What's the Story Morning Glory

5) Michael Jackson - Thriller

6) Adele - 21

7) Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms
