Procol Harum's Gary Brooker Injured In Fall
The singer is forced to pull all of his band's South African dates
Ultimate Classic Rock reports that Brooker took a serious fall on his 67th birthday and, while details are scarce, the singer serious hurt himself and is currently recovering.
A promoter told Times Live that the singer is healing. "Our thoughts are with Gary and the band during this difficult time. We are confident that he is receiving the very best medical attention and we wish him a speedy recovery.”
Procol Harum were on the road with Moody Blues and 10CC as part of what was called the British Invasion Tour but they will now not be appearing at those dates.
The band are still thought to heading to North America in July, though.
