President Obama makes appearance in new Rush Time Stand Still trailer

Rush have premiered another teaser trailer for their upcoming Time Stand Still movie.

Published 27th Oct 2016

The three-minute taster follows creative director of Rush fan convention RushCon, Jillian Maryonovich, who is also an aide to President Barack Obama at The White House.

She says in the clip: “My fandom, especially in college, was such a fever pitch, I was just vibrating with Rush fandom. I could not get enough.

“Before Facebook and the internet, this was me cutting out photos from magazines and covering my walls. It got exhausting.

“I loved them so much and I was so heavily inspired, that it’s an outlet for my crazy.”

After Maryonovich waxes lyrical about working for the President, Obama duly makes a brief appearance in the trailer fist-bumping the massive Rush fan while walking through The White House.

Earlier this month, Rush dropped another trailer in which Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson reflected upon a character they created in their hedonistic seventies days called The Bag.

Lifeson explained he would assume the role of The Bag and taunt members of KISS backstage. You can watch the hilarious footage here.

Rush’s Time Stand Still documentary is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on Friday 18th November.
