PRESALE: Saxon announce four-date October 2018 tour
Yorkshire heavy metal titans Saxon have lined up four headline dates for this coming October.
The Thunderbolt Tour Part 2 will take in shows at Glasgow Barrowland, London Roundhouse, Portsmouth Guildhall and Manchester Academy this autumn in support of their 22nd studio album ‘Thunderbolt’, which was released earlier this month.
Saxon will be joined by special guests the legendary American rockers Y&T and Wayward Sons at all four shows.
Biff Byford says: “We’re gonna be bringing the tour back into the UK and Europe in the autumn, playing some classic venues with some classic bands....it’s going to be special – BRING IT ON!”
48-hour presale tickets go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Wednesday 14th February.
The fresh UK shows are in addition to Saxon’s previously announced dates in Cardiff, Cambridge and Hull next week.
The follow-up to 2015’s critically lauded ‘Battering Ram’, ‘Thunderbolt’ is available to buy now on CD Digipack, 180gms coloured gatefold vinyl, special edition boxset, tape cassette and digital download formats.
