PRESALE: Procol Harum announce 50th anniversary UK tour
Procol Harum are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a spring 2017 UK tour.
In addition to their previously announced March show at London Royal Festival Hall, the band will play dates in Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Nottingham and Bristol next May.
The 2017 shows will celebrate not only the half century landmark of their formation but also the release of the seminal anthem ‘A Whiter Shade of Pale’ – one of only 40 songs to sell over 10million copies globally.
Fronted by founding member, singer, pianist and composer Gary Brooker, the band also consists of bassist Matt Pegg (Jethro Tull, Ian Brown), drummer Geoff Dunn (Jimmy Page, Dave Stewart, Van Morrison), guitarist Geoff Whitehorn (Roger Chapman, Paul Rodgers, Roger Daltrey) and Hammond organ player Josh Phillips (Pete Townsend and Midge Ure).
Expect music from their vast back catalogue together with “a few new surprises” too.
Presale tickets to the tour are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now!
