Pre-sale: Walter Trout announces May 2020 UK shows
Fresh from wrapping up his current tour at Planet Rock’s Rocktober in Sheffield on Saturday night, legendary blues rocker Walter Trout has lined up five UK shows for May 2020.
The former Canned Heat and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers axeman plays Buxton Opera House, Frome Cheese & Grain, London Islington Assembly, Holmfirth Picturedrome and Gateshead Sage in late spring.
Joining Walter Trout at all five shows will be special guests Danielle Nicole Band, fronted by titular Kansas City blues/soul musician Danielle Nicole.
Danielle's distinctive, inventive bass work resulted in her becoming the first woman to win the Blues Foundation's 2014 Blues Music Award for Best Instrumentalist (bass category) and her 2018 album ‘Cry No More’ picked up a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album.
Pre-sale tickets to the five May 2020 shows go on sale right here at 10am on Tuesday 15th October. General sale follows on Thursday.
