Poison axe tour after Bret Michaels demands 600% more money than bandmates

Poison drummer Rikki Rockett says the band’s planned 2026 tour has been shelved after frontman Bret Michael demanded 600% more money than his bandmates.
Back in March 2025, Rikki Rockett told Sirius XM’s Eddie Trunk that Poison will hit the road in 2026 to mark the 40th anniversary of their debut album ‘Look What the Cat Dragged In.’
Guitarist C.C. DeVille teased the live shows over the summer, asking his social media followers “Poison tour 2026. Are you ready?”
10 months on, Rockett now says Poison won’t be touring this year due to a disagreement over money.
“We had a great offer, I thought. But we left the table,” Rockett exclusively told Page Six. “It didn’t work.”
“Really what it came to was C.C., (bassist) Bobby (Dall) and I were all in, and I thought Bret was, but he wanted the lion’s share of the money, to the point where it makes it not possible to even do it. It’s like $6 to every one of our dollars. You just can’t work that way.”
He continued: “I don’t do this just for the money. I do have a love for this, absolutely. But at the same time, you don’t want to go out and work really hard just to make somebody else a bunch of money.”
Rikki Rockett is now planning to perform Look What the Cat Dragged In’ in full with his band The Rockett Mafia.
Poison haven’t performed a full concert in the UK since way back in April 1993.
