Published 27th Mar 2023

We’re pleased to announce that the line-up for Planet Rockstock 2023 has expanded with the addition of 10 bands.

Fresh from storming last year’s Planet Rockstock with their Plays Motörhead set, Welsh hard rock heroes Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons will headline the main stage on the Thursday night of our four-day extravaganza.

Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons

Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons’ will be performing their own material this year together with a sprinkling of Motörhead classics. They join previously announced Saturday headliners Michael Schenker Group, and we’ll be unveiling the final two headliners in the coming months.

After their rapturously received UK tour with Black Stone Cherry and The Darkness last December, Toronto power rock trio Danko Jones return to the UK and they will take the coveted Sunday night main support slot.

Danko Jones

No strangers to Planet Rockstock having triumphed on multiple occasions, Scotland’s prodigal sons GUN will bring their rock anthems to the Saturday night main support slot ahead of Michael Schenker Group’s set.

Elsewhere, Welsh rock livewires Florence Black and Hollywood party rock n' rollers The Bites play the Thursday night, while supremely talented bluesman Laurence Jones and Llanelli melodic rock powerhouses Scarlet Rebels both play the Friday evening.

Completing the fresh wave of line-up additions are genre-bending French musical marvels Lazuli and Derby riff n’ rollers These Wicked Rivers on the Saturday evening (TWR open the stage), while the legendry Martin Turner Ex Wishbone Ash plays the Sunday.

Florence Black

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023, Planet Rockstock takes place once again at its long-term home of Trecco Bay in South Wales from Thursday 30th November to Sunday 3rd December 2023.

We’ll be unveiling the next wave of line-up announcements at the end of April. Stay tuned for more!

We’re also delighted to confirm that Trooper Beer will once again be the Official Beer of Planet Rockstock 2023.
