Planet Rock Nominated For Radio Academy Award
We're up for for "Radio Brand Of The Year!"
The nominations were announced this week for the annual Radio Academy Awards (The Oscars of the radio world!) and Planet Rock have been honoured with a nomination for Radio Brand Of The Year!
Competition is tough as we're up against Kiss, Absolute Radio, Capital and last year's winners Classic FM.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all so very much for listening and supporting the station throughout the years. It is a great privilege for a radio station that plays Rock music (which obviously we all know if the best sort!) to receive such a nod, alongside such well-known and established brands; especially considering the high volume of entries that the Academy received for this category.
The ceremony takes place on the 12th May in London - we'll of course let you know how we get on!
