In other Iron Maiden news, Bruce Dickinson has been praised for an emergency landing in his Fokker triplane at an RAF airbase in Buckinghamshire.

Bruce was flying his WW1 Fokker triplane (previous owner: Manfred von Richthofen, known as the Red Baron), when the fuel ran low. According to the Bucks Herald, he diverted to the airbase, where RAF personnel were on-hand to refuel the classic plane and store it for a few days in a hangar for him.

Squadron leader Gary Coleman at RAF Halton, said: “We applaud Bruce Dickinson’s decision to divert to RAF Halton rather than press to his destination with potentially low fuel. To see such a well-regarded pilot, and world-renowned rock singer, make this decision is great for our student pilots to see."

Bruce Dickinson = legend.
