Planet Rock is extremely excited to announce a brand new rock n’ roll weekender for 2017!

Published 25th Nov 2016

Ensuring we say goodbye to those cold winter months in style, Planet Rock Presents Winter’s End takes place at Sandford Holiday Park in Poole, Dorset on the weekend of Friday 24th to Sunday 26th February 2017.

The three-day rock extravaganza will be a showcase for some of the finest bands from every corner of Britain.

Fresh from wowing on their co-headline tour with The Dead Daisies and releasing their magnificent third album ‘Solas’, we’re proud to confirm that Northern Ireland’s prodigal sons The Answer will headline.

Also topping the bill are the brilliant Toseland. Fronted by double Superbike World Champion James Toseland, the band released their thunderous new album ‘Cradle The Rage’ to widespread acclaim back in March.

Completing our trio of headliners are hard rockers Inglorious, who unleashed their remarkable eponymous debut album in February 2016 and are currently putting the finishing touches to the follow-up with legendary producer Kevin ‘The Caveman’ Shirley.

Special guests include Scottish rock heroes Gun whowill be bringing their epic sounds to Sandford Holiday Park in February, having released their aptly titled live album ‘Frantic – Live’ recently and dazzled on their autumn tour.

Also on the line-up are the mighty Dare - ex Thin Lizzy keyboardist Darren Wharton and co. will be delving into their distinguished back catalogue in a set not to be missed.

Walsall hard rockers Stone Broken will also be proving why they’re one the year’s most talked about new acts when they perform powerful anthems like ‘Wait For You’ and ‘Stay All Night’ at Winter’s End.

Also confirmed for Winter’s End are the legendary Bernie Marsden, Milton Keynes blues rockers RavenEye, seventies infused power pop rockers Cats In Space and London purveyors of gloriously murky blues sounds Dirty Thrills.

Completing this batch of announcements are melodic rockers Vega, Carnforth’s prodigal sons Massive Wagons and the ridiculously talented blues rocker Chantel McGregor.
