Originally released in 2011 on CD only, the album features 16 seminal Pink Floyd tracks cherry picked by the band themselves.

Released on Friday 28th September, the album package comes in a gatefold outer sleeve, with two separate printed inner bags, and is pressed on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl.

Classics that feature include ‘See Emily Play’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, ‘Comfortably Numb’, ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’ and ‘High Hopes’.

The artwork on the album was the last cover long-term collaborator Storm Thorgerson created for Pink Floyd before his death in 2013.

The design has been tweaked by Pink Floyd Creative Director Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis and Peter Curzon, to feature alternate versions of the photographs used in the original CD version.

Pink Floyd Records drafted in James Guthrie and Joel Plante to remaster the album for vinyl with lacquers cut by Bernie Grundman of Grundman Mastering in Los Angeles, California.

The 2-LP version boasts the reinstated version of ‘Time’, with the ringing alarm clocks at the start of the track restored, after being omitted on the original CD release seven years ago.
