Peter Gabriel Plotting New Album / DVD
Expect a couple of new releases this year
As well as a previously confirmed live DVD, which was recorded last week in London, it seems that we can expect a second collection of orchestral tracks.
According Genesis fansite - www.genesis-news.com - the album will be called New Blood and will be released later this year. It will apparently contain new versions of Gabriel solo tracks, recorded with an orchestra.
The album will be a sister piece to last year's 'Scratch My Back' record, which contained a series of covers.
Gabriel's new live film was recorded in 3D at two shows in London last week. Once again, the show featured just Gabriel and an orchestra performing new versions of his back catalogue. The film is expected to be released later in the summer.
