Pearl Jam release first trailer for concert film 'Let's Play Two'
Pearl Jam have released the trailer for their upcoming concert movie 'Let's Play Two', filmed last year.
Recorded in August 2016, the film captures the band performing a career-spanning set at Wrigley Field in Chicago, home of their beloved Chicago Cubs who famously ended their 108-year drought to win the world series.
Director Danny Clinch is the man behind the project: "In my films and photographs, I love to explore the relationship between a band, their fans and the location. When it happens that the main characters of your film are Pearl Jam, the Chicago Cubs, their fans, and Wrigley Field during a historic moment, you know it's going to be epic.
Explaining how the documentary manages to capture footage of the band cheering on the team in the lead-up to the Cubs' shock victory, Clinch continues "Our instincts were correct to follow the story and it took us to a historic Game 7 of the World Series ending a 108-year drought for the Cubs. I have learned to welcome the unexpected and it always pays off if you’re ready for it."
