Paul Rodgers Given Songwriters Award
The American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers give the former Free man a gong
Hennemusic reports that The American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP) gave the 2010 Songwriting Award to Rodgers in recognition of the hit track "Bad Company".Â
The award was given out in London recently and was accepted by Rodgers' son, musician Steve Rodgers. Paul was unable to attend the event as he was in New York where he was performing two nights at the Beacon Theatre as Joe Bonamassa's special guest.
