Ozzy To Return To Classic Sound
His drummer says that he\'s going to go a little retro on his next album
Gibson.com is reporting that in an interview with the Talking Metal podcast, Tommy Clufetos revealed that Ozzy's next album had already entered the planning stages.
"I think he is going to return to a classic rock band record," Clufetos said. "What he has expressed is that he wants to make it the band playing live in a room so wherever that takes us. Less technology and more amps and drums."
The drummer said that the creative process has already begun, with the guys in the band working on new ideas in between gigs on Ozzy’s world tour.
"We are already coming up with new ideas backstage, in the hotel rooms and at soundcheck and have a bunch of ideas recorded, whether they be small or full songs," he said. "We are working on things slowly for the next... whatever it may be; time will tell what happens with them."
