Ozzy Osbourne looks set to make his live return this October
He's teased Power Trip festival in California

Ozzy Osbourne looks certain to perform his first live concert in half a decade this autumn.
Alongside AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Tool, Ozzy Osbourne took to his social media channels last night (28th March) to share a 23-second teaser video for the new Power Trip festival in California.
It’s reported that the rock mega-festival will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on the weekend of Friday 6th to Sunday 8th October 2023 and will "feature legendary heavy rock performers from the 1970s and 1980s.”
Ozzy Osbourne’s video features collaged images of rock equipment and desert imagery and slowly reveals the Power Trip logo.
If Ozzy is indeed playing Power Trip festival, it will be the Birmingham metal legend’s first full show since December 2018.
Fellow rumoured Power Trip festival headliners AC/DC haven’t played live in over seven years.
Ozzy Osbourne performed ‘Paranoid’ at the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony alongside Tony Iommi last August, and sang ‘Patient Number 9’ and ‘Crazy Train’ at the NFL kick-off at Sofia Stadium in California last September.
At the start of February, Ozzy Osbourne announced his retirement from touring following his series of health setbacks.
Explaining to fans that it's “one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share”, Ozzy said his “only purpose” in the past few years was to get back on stage following his series of health setbacks. However, despite his best efforts, his “body is still physically weak.”
Confirming that he still wants to perform live in some capacity going forward, 74-year-old Ozzy told his beloved fans: “Never would I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way.”
As a result of the announcement, all of Ozzy’s upcoming tour dates were cancelled including his No More Tours 2 UK arena tour with special guests Judas Priest.
Speaking on Talk TV last week, Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon Osbourne denied he had retired from performing live.
She explained that his tour cancellation “doesn't mean he's not going to be doing any shows. If there is a festival here and there that he wants to do, he will do that. But it's just long tours he won't do anymore."
