Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon Osbourne made the surprise revelation while presenting the American TV chat show The Talk on Monday morning (6th January).

Asked what plans Ozzy has for 2020 by co-presenter Carrie Ann Inaba, Sharon replied: "A lot of good things. Wellness. And to get back with his fans, to get doing what he loves, which is touring and being out there with his fans.

“And yes, there's new music, and it's great. He's got all his friends playing on it. He's doing a song with Elton (John). There's so much good stuff. Good things."

It’s not yet clear whether the song will appear on Ozzy’s upcoming twelfth studio album ‘Ordinary Man’, which is released this year.

Recorded in Los Angeles while Ozzy was recuperating from a serious fall in his bedroom, ‘Ordinary Man’ features producer Andrew Watt on guitars with Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan on bass and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith on drums.

“This album was a gift from my higher power - it is proof to me that you should never give up,” Ozzy says.

So far two tracks have been unveiled from the record – the Planet Rock playlisted anthem ‘Under The Graveyard’ plus current single ‘Straight to Hell’ featuring guitars from Slash.

Yesterday (6th January), Ozzy premiered the hard-hitting ‘Straight to Hell’ music video, which sees Ozzy belt out the track amidst fiery riots. Watch it here:

‘Straight to Hell’ follows December’s Jonas Åkerlund directed ‘Under The Graveyard’ video, which follows a young Ozzy in Los Angeles in 1979 as he descends into debauchery.

'Ordinary Man' is the follow-up to June 2010's 'Scream'.
