Ozzy Osbourne shares health update one month on from UK tour cancellation
He still wants to see his fans

Ozzy Osbourne has updated fans on his health one month on from his retirement from touring and cancellation of his No More Tours 2 tour.
Ozzy issued a heartfelt statement on 1st February saying that his “only purpose” in the past few years was to get back on stage following his series of health setbacks. However, despite his best efforts, his boday was “still physically weak.”
Earlier this week, The Prince of Darkness appeared on SiriusXM's Ozzy Speaks and he told listeners that despite still being in “constant pain” he still wants to “get out there” to see his beloved fans.
Asked about his potential live return, Ozzy said: "Well, I've been working my guts out to try and get back on my feet. I've come to the point where Sharon says to me, 'You know what? The truth of the matter is you can't keep booking tours and failing, cancelling.
“So, if I can ever get back to where I can tour again, fine. But right now, if you said to me, 'Can you go on the road in a month?' I couldn't say yes. I mean, if I could tour, I'd tour. But right now I can't book tours because right now I don't think I could pull them off."
Ozzy also hit out at sections of the media for hyperbolising his condition, saying: "The f---ing press drive you nuts.
"I mean, I looked in a magazine, (it said) 'Ozzy's on his last legs.' I'm f---ing not dying. Come on, guys! Haven't I've had it bad enough already?!”
Continuing to talk about his health, Ozzy added: “I feel like a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest. The only thing I've got that keeps me going is making records. But I can't do that forever. I gotta get out there.
“(I'm) still in constant pain. I do to the best I can to stay away from the pain medication, but there are times when I go, 'You know, I've gotta take something.' I mean, last week I couldn't… I've been sleeping great, and all of a sudden for two back-to-back nights. I never slept a wink.
“If you're gonna torture me, just keep me awake for a couple of days. I'll tell you whatever the f--- you want me to say."
Ozzy Osbourne’s UK & Ireland tour with Judas Priest was originally scheduled for early 2019 and was postponed four times.
Firstly after he contracted the flu and pneumonia in early 2019, secondly when Ozzy suffered a serious fall in his bedroom, thirdly in October 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, and lastly in November 2021 “due to the ongoing uncertainty with full capacity events & travel logistics.”
Alongside his multiple neck surgeries, Ozzy has revealed in the past three years that he’s been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and emphysema.
Last month,Ozzy Osbourne won two Grammy Awardsin Los Angeles for his critically acclaimed 2022 album 'Patient Number 9'.
