Back in January, the former Black Sabbath singer was forced to postpone his entire UK and European tour – together with further dates in Australia, New Zealand & Japan - due flu and a severe upper-respiratory infection.

His wife and manager Sharon Osbourne later revealed that Ozzy’s flu had developed into pneumonia when he was hospitalised at the Keck Hospital of University of Southern California.

In a new interview with entertainment news show Access, Ozzy’s son Jack gave a health update, saying: "Well, if this gauges where he's at, he's complaining a lot and he's back to his normal routine. So everything's A-okay there."

Sharon joked: "That's always a good sign, when he complains and he's miserable. Then you know it's good."

Jack added: "It's when he's happy and skipping around. You're, like, 'There's something really wrong here. Call the doctor.'"

Agreeing, Sharon continued: “Really dark thoughts in his head, he’s happy, what’s going on?!”

Ozzy has vowed to complete his postponed European shows with Judas Priest and said in January they’re being rescheduled to start in September.

Last October Ozzy was hospitalised with three potentially deadly staph infections in his right hand, which forced him to postpone the final four dates of his US tour.

Ozzy's North American shows with Megadeth this summer are currently scheduled to go ahead as planned.
