Ozzy Osbourne’s death certificate has listed the cause of death as a heart attack, the New York Times has reported.
It also mentioned that he suffered from coronary heart disease and Parkinson’s disease.
The certificate reportedly lists the official cause of death as “a) Out of hospital cardiac arrest b) Acute myocardial infarction c) Coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction (Joint Causes)”.
Osbourne died on 22 July at the age of 76.
The death certificate, which was reportedly submitted by daughter Aimee Osbourne at a registry in London, also gave a nod to the singer’s global superstardom.
Under ‘Occupation’ it listed, “Songwriter, Performer and Rock Legend”
Osbourne was laid to rest in the grounds of his UK mansion last week during a private ceremony that was attended by members of his family as well as Elton John, members of Metallica and others.
Thousands of fans lined the streets as the funeral procession made its way through the streets of his home city of Birmingham.
Daughter Kelly Osbourne thanked fans for their “love, support and beautiful messages” on Monday.
“Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain,” she wrote on Instagram.
