Wicked Stone are Joe Hawx (vocals), James Forrister (guitar), Olly Smith (drums) and James Amos (bass).

After unleashing their highly promising 10-track debut album ‘Ain’t No Rest’ to considerable acclaim in October 2017, UK rockers Wicked Stone have returned to the fore in some style this summer with their epic new single ‘Unchained’. A song that immediately draws you in from the opening atmospheric guitar lines, ‘Unchained’ soon kicks into gear with massive-sounding, chugging riffs, pummelling beats and impassioned vocals from the powerful pipes of frontman Joe Hawx. It’s pure, no-frills rock music that packs a potent punch.

Already played on Wyatt’s New Rock Show, ‘Unchained’ strongly suggests that Wicked Stone’s upcoming new EP ‘Devil In Me’ – released to the world on Friday 13th September 2019 – will be very special indeed. Boldly described as “lyrically more mature” and “musically more evolved” than their previous efforts, the EP sees Wicked Stone embrace a more powerful, harder edge, yet it still retains their keen eye for anthemic choruses and infectious melodies.

Echoing their prowess on record, Wicked Stone are also in their element on the live arena. Having played Ramblin’ Man Fair just one year into their fledgling career in 2016, the band have fast built a reputation as an exhilarating live force and they were one of the standout acts at Planet Rock’s Winter’s End earlier this year. With more shows in the pipeline to support the release of ‘Devil In Me’, make sure you catch Wicked Stone if you can.
