Salvation Jayne are: Chess Smith (vocals) / Holly Kinnear (guitar) / Tor Charlesworth (drums) / Dan Lucas (bass)

Salvation Jayne are a young, forward thinking, alt-rock band with a distinctive dirty sound, steadily making a name for themselves in the UK music scene due to their charismatic and energetic live performances. The quartet have been working hard since their formation in 2013, building a fanbase and honing their song-writing skills.

The band recently joined forces with management team The Fate Group (Kris Barras), and landed some spins on Planet Rock with their acclaimed singles ‘Cortez’ and ‘Juno’. By mixing elements of rock, nu-wave and blues Salvation Jayne have created their own heavy, dynamic and edgy style, woven with dark lyrical themes which often take influence from TV shows such as American Horror Story and Dexter. Channelling the riff-heavy bluster of Clutch with the undeniable pop-suss of Queens of the Stone Age and the modern edge of Royal Blood, the song ‘Cortez’ laid down the gauntlet for the all new Salvation Jayne. The song’s dark and twisted video landed at #1 in Louder’s ‘Track of the Week’. A new chapter for hotly-tipped newcomers Salvation Jayne is well and truly under-way.

The band’s self-titled EP is the sound of a band making music without boundaries, Salvation Jayne aren’t an act that’s easy to simply pigeonhole. With the hugely expressive vocals of Chess Smith, who gives SJ the range of emotion required to be able to pull off everything they want to achieve, and the quite brilliant guitar playing of the highly-rated Holly Kinnear plus a truly formidable rhythm section in Dan Lucas and Tor Charlesworth. Salvation Jayne are justifiably rated as one of the UK’s most exciting up and coming bands.
