Iconic Eye are Jane Gould (vocals), Greg Dean (guitars/keyboards), Robin Mitchard (lead guitar), Michael Dagnall (bass) and Jon Cooksey (drums).

The brainchild of band lynchpin Greg Dean, Iconic Eye arrived on the scene in spring 2015 with their high-promising, self-released debut album ‘Hidden In Plain Sight’. Nodding towards a plethora of rock acts from Van Halen (thanks to their penchant for generous slabs of keyboards) to Scorpions and a spattering of Europe, the punchy album featured two singers; guest vocalist Lee Small and the then permanent member Tim Dawes. The embryonic talent on display landed Iconic Eye a coveted spot at Download Festival that summer and Hard Rock Hell the following year.

Reborn and revitalised, in 2017 Iconic Eye returned to the fore with the addition of new vocalist Jane Gould and a completely new band surrounding sole constant member Dean. In the studio, the new line-up set about re-recording five of the standout tracks from ‘Hidden In Plain Sight’ but giving them a self-professed ‘more aggressive’ backbone with Gould’s impressive vocals also adding a new musical dimension. Alongside this, they laid down six new Dean and Gould compositions (with musical input from youthful lead axeman Robin Mitchard on two songs) and the 11 tracks became their second album ‘Into The Light’, which was showered with plaudits when it was released last November.

Keeping up the ante, 2018 has seen Iconic Eye unleash potent new single ‘Am I The One?’, play a Scandinavian tour with the mighty Magnum this spring and land upcoming support slots with Hardline and former Europe guitarist Kee Marcello. They’ll then see the year out with a coveted Stage 2 appearance at Planet Rockstock this December.
