No Who Tour Or Album In 2011

Roger Daltrey has revealed that The Who will NOT be touring in 2011, nor will they be releasing a new album.

In an interview following The Who’s performance at the Killing Cancer show in London last week Daltrey revealed that they were still being cautious over Pete Townshend’s hearing and that he himself needed a break.

It had been widely reported that The Who would be playing live dates this year, and it was hoped that their long rumoured new rock opera Floss would be released at some point.

However, we may need to wait for the band to hit the road and settle for very special one-off shows, like the Killing Cancer concert.

The band lined up alongside artists such as Jeff Beck, Richard Ashcroft and Debbie Harry to play a handful of songs, including a couple of collaborations such as the one you can watch below with Jeff Beck.
