Nightwish reschedule Birmingham and London shows again, add Dublin date
They will hit England later this year
Finnish symphonic metallers Nightwish have been forced to push back their concerts in Birmingham and London for a second time due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Part of a gargantuan European tour in support of their ninth album 'Human. :II: Nature.’, Nightwish will now play Birmingham Resorts World Arena on Thursday 18th November 2021 and London The SSE Arena, Wembley on Monday 13th December 2021. Amorphis and Turmion Kätilöt remain as support.
Alongside rescheduling their entire European trek, the band have also added a show at Dublin's 3Arena on Wednesday 17th November.
The Birmingham and London concerts were originally scheduled to take place in November 2020 but got pushed back to May 2021.
Ahead of the concerts, on Friday 12th March and Saturday 13th March 2021, Nightwish will play two very special interactive livestream shows called An Evening with Nightwish in a Virtual World.
The band will perform at The Islanders Arms, a tavern built in virtual reality, and on both evenings, the audience can expect an unforgettable 90-minute performance, and will get to hear songs from the latest album ”Human. :II: Nature.” live for the first time.

Earlier this month, Nightwish bassist and co-vocalist Marko Hietala announced that he had resigned from the band after a tenure of two decades.
The 54-year-old Finnish musician posted an honest statement slamming the music industry and revealing that he was suffering from disillusionment and depression.
Nightwish said in response: “Marko’s resignation has left us with some difficult decisions and choices to be made. After much thought and consideration, we have, in mutual understanding, decided to perform the upcoming 'Human. :II: Nature. -world tour' as planned, but with a session bass player.”
