Nickelback Not Expecting Hall Of Fame To Call
The band laugh off their lack of critical acceptance
In a new interview with the Edmonton Journal the band spoke about how they've taken to laughing of the criticism that comes their way, and responding to it using humour (they filmed a very funny comedy skit in response to a petition that was set up to stop them playing at an NFL game in Detroit).
"We're just laughing while we do it," Kroeger said. "I mean, it's just like when you got guys all sitting around together, you know, we'll hear about something and, you know, we laugh. You know, whoever comes up with the most comedic thing, it's like, `Oh, that's good. We have to tweet that.'"
They also commented on the likelihood that they will receive a nod for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
"We may be dead by then but I think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will probably show up the same time as our first Grammy," Kroeger said.
