NASA Astronaut Michael Fossum is amongst the first people to hear new song from Texan legends

Undercover News reports that Fossum is a close friend of the band and they have given him a sneak preview of their forthcoming studio album by letting him take the song 'Flyin High' with him as he travelled to work - only his work is on the Soyuz TMA-02M which is currently on its way to the International Space Station.

Fossum took off from the Bailonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan yesterday with the sneak preview in his player for his "commute to work". The song apparently contains the lyrics "Flyin' high, I'm gonna touch the sky".

The track is expected to appear on the band's as-yet-unnamed 14th studio album, which is hopefully due to be released before the end of the year.
