New Syd Barrett Compilation Pulls Together Solo & Floyd

Eccentric rocker gets new CD collection

A brand new Syd Barrett compilation pulls together the best bits of his solo work and his work with Pink Floyd for the first time.

An Introduction To Syd Barrett is released on 4 October and features material from his brief musical career – with six tracks from his time with Floyd and twelve from his solo career. Many of the tracks have been remixed for the album.

David Gilmour acts as Executive Producer on the record and the brand new artwork has been provided by long term Pink Floyd collaborator Storm Thorgerson.
