New Skynyrd Collection Announced
Unfortunately it's looking likely to be US only
Southern Surroundings: The Ultimate Skynyrd Collection  is to be released as a Walmart exclusive in the US this week. It is a 3 disc CD/DVD set that includes a fairly standard "greatest hits" CD (although it does include a rare acoustic version of 'All I Can Do Is Write About It').
The collection also includes a seven-track DVD featuring the band's legendary live performance on BBC’s Old Grey Whistle Test, and a 10-song DVD-Audio/Video boasting 10 classic songs newly mixed in 5.1 surround sound by Grammy-winning producer Elliott Scheiner.
There's no word of a UK release as yet.
