New Single From Hendrix

A rare cover of an Elmore James classic by Jimi Hendrix is to be released as a single on 1 March.

‘Bleeding Heart’ is released as a digital single on 1 March and as a 7” single a week. The song features on the brand new album, Valleys Of Neptune, which is released on 8 March. Perhaps most intriguingly, the single is backed by the song 'Peace In Mississippi' which is NOT included on the new album.

‘Bleeding Heart’ was recorded in April 1969 and features Billy Cox on bass and Rocky Isaac on drums.

The song will be accompanied by a video directed by Julien Temple, who made the Sex Pistols film Filth & The Fury.
