New Live Recordings From Pearl Jam
Band launches new series under the title "Instant Classic"
Pearl Jam have expressed interest in releasing a series of live recordings under the title "Instant Classic".Â
After performing for the first time in seven years in Missoula, Pearl Jam declared the performance an "instant classic" and requested that it immediately be made available for fans at a discounted price ($4.99 rather than $9.99) via their website. They hope to make this the first in a series of live bootleg recordings.Â
Pearl Jam have been working on and off on their new album, a follow-up to 2009's "Backspacer". No official release date or title have been issued, but the band have stated that they hope to release the record in the first half of 2013 "if all goes according to plan".Â
