The frontman and Planet Rock presenter has told Rolling Stone.com that the run of shows will give the band chance to get together and write during downtime.

Def Leppard will perform their classic ‘Hysteria’ album in full at the Hard Rock Hotel in March, as well as putting on a set of rarities and b – sides.

Joe told Rolling Stone he was looking forward to the performances, but said that playing ‘Hysteria’ in it original running order would be a bit odd, seeing as they usually reserve ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’ for much later in their regular sets. Said Joe, "It's going to be a bit of a head trip. But I think that's OK. It's gonna be weird but people are going to be expecting it."

Speaking about the chance to develop some new ideas, Joe said, ""I don't know if we'll do an album. Maybe the way to go is put one or two tracks out at a time and see how it goes. Almost like a 7-inch single."

"We've got a golden opportunity," he continued. "We've got ample opportunity to look each other in the eye and go 'what you got?' We're back to that rehearsal-room vibe."
